Systems software in C and C++

Services, libraries and command-line tools in modern C and C++, built safe and secure from the start, and checked under sanitizers and static analysis on every platform.

Encryption and secure protocols

End-to-end encryption, key management and signed releases, designed against a threat model that is written down before the code. When a project needs a protocol of its own, Hyperion Labs writes its specification and builds it on established, widely reviewed cryptographic libraries. It never invents its own encryption.

Cross-platform desktop clients

Qt applications that behave natively on Windows, Linux and FreeBSD, shipped with a proper installer for each.

Hardware research and development

Hardware is an area of interest for Hyperion Labs; however, the work in it is, at this moment, purely research-based. One project is currently in flight, and Hyperion Labs offers its potential clients a possibility to define a project in this area.

How it works

From first email to handover

    Get in touch

    A short email about what should be built and by when, then a short call to talk it through.

  2. 02

    Scope and quote

    A written scope and a quote come back before any work starts.

  3. 03

    Build

    Work arrives in agreed milestones, each with its source code and tests.

  4. 04

    Handover

    Source, documentation and rights pass to the client as the contract sets out. Hyperion Labs keeps the right to promote the finished product on its website, unless the contract says otherwise.

Progress is reported as it happens, and questions are answered as they come up.

Terms

Working terms

  • Contracts and invoices come from a registered Serbian business, tax ID (PIB) 115168022.
  • Work is done remotely, in English or Serbian.
  • Sigil's own development continues alongside, which is why projects are taken on a few at a time.
  • Hyperion Labs does not take on tracking, advertising or surveillance work.
